WHO WE ARE

The mission of the College & Career group at FBC Neches is to bridge the gap between young adults graduating from high school and leaving home to becoming functional disciples and servent leaders in the church and in society.

 

Our goal is to help young adults understand the function of the church, and to raise up disciples and servent leaders through intense teaching of scripture and its application for life.

 

Philippians 2:3-8 guides our teaching: "3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross."

WHAT WE DO

We are a community of young men and women who desire to serve God. In additional to Sunday morning Bible study, we meet for social events and service activities. If you are looking for Christian fellowship with other young adults just like you, you've come to the right place!

We meet every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in Scott's office. We look forward to having you join us!
